We have parts that you can install  on your rifle to make it no longer a California “assault weapon”, but we are selling out fast! Here’s a link you may want to review in preparation for this stupid anti-freedom law passed entirely by Democrat legislators & the Democrat governor (remember this at the November election)!

Only 88 Days Left To Buy An A.R. Rifle

September 16th, 2016 | No Comments | Posted in News
shutterstock_117501475As you know, the Democrats in the state legislature, and our Democrat governor, have made the sale of A.R. style rifles illegal in California beginning New Year’s Day 2017. Next door at Border Tactical, there are just a few rifles left for sale. On December 31, we have to ship what we have left back to the manufacturer. Because of the 10-day wait, you need to buy your rifle now if you are ever going to get one legally in California.

We’re expanding! Because you, our customer, have supported Phoenix Uniforms of El Centro so well since we moved into the new store four years ago, we are expanding to meet the demand. Our sales manager, Justin, keeps telling us we need to stock more items so customers won’t have to wait while we re-order the most popular inventory. If you’ve visited the store the past couple of weeks, you’ve seen the construction in progress, and maybe seen some dust or extension cords on the floor. By May 1st, we hope we’ll have everything finished so you’ll be able to enjoy shopping with more merchandise, a bigger store area, and a better layout making it easier to find what you’re looking for. We also hope you’ll find time to visit the new furniture going in next door, if you need new furniture.

You know that the founder of 5.11 was originally a chef, and food & beverage is his passion. When we go to dealer meetings, Dan always cooks up a great feast for his dealers. Well, we’ve tried this 5.11 Coffee, and so should you. These 12-oz vacumn-sealed packages of coffee are blended right here in California and rushed to the store. Fresh and bold, this is a real eye-opener either in the morning getting ready for work, or during that long night shift assignment, Why not try a pack at work and see how much the supervisor appreciates some good coffee?

Cotton Prices Causing Havoc in Uniform Markets

December 29th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in News

This past cotton-harvesting season in the far east, in places like Pakistan & India, was a disaster. Literally. The unseasonal monsoons destroyed most of the cotton before harvest, and in China, a drought destroyed 15% of their cotton crop. Worldwide supplies are extremely short. The result is that cotton prices are zooming upwards for clothing made of cotton. (Most of the U.S. cotton growing has been driven overseas by government interference and hostility towards farmers by government regulators, the last time cotton planting was this low in the U.S. was 1983.) Cotton prices now are the highest they’ve been in 15 years.

Most of our suppliers have notified us that uniforms made of cotton will be increasing in price this year. Artificial fibers like polyester & rayon, Most of the uniforms made for public safety are made of artificial fibers, which won’t see much of a price spike, if any. All-cotton items like scrubs and fire-resistant uniforms are the most likely to see price increases. The real impact should be seen on denim, though. Buy your blue jeans now!

Of course, this information is just a report on current situations, and don’t bet the house investing in cotton futures! We did want you to know, however, that you are more likely to see prices rise on uniforms in the latter parts of 2011. We recommend you purchase your uniforms as early as possible in the year to avoid the price increases that our suppliers have told us are bound to happen very soon.
